Navigate To: Merchandise > Product Setup > Define Variants > Views > "Customize Link"
Overview
Customize Variant is used when a product variant requires a different setup than the base view template. It allows you to apply unique templates to a variant when:
The print area and canvas area differ from the base product view templates.
The rules or configurations vary compared to the base view templates.
Images with different dimensions are required to set up the variant.
Steps to Customize Variants
Navigate to Merchandise and click on the Product Setup menu.
Search for the product by Product Name or Product Code, then click the product name.
From the left navigation, select Define Variants. The list of existing variants will appear.
Click on the View link of the variant where you want to customize the variant.
Click on the Customize radio button.
A popup will appear. Click on the Ok button to customize the variant.
You will be taken to the variant view canvas area where you can change the templates for that particular variant.
Click on Edit Assigned Template to change the template.
Select the required template that need to be assigned to this particular variant.
Click on Save button from the top corner of the page and the templates will be updated for that particular variant.
