Overview
This article explains how to delete existing variants for a product. Once a variant is deleted, it cannot be restored, and you will need to recreate it if required.
Steps to Delete Variants
Navigate to Merchandise and click on the Product Setup menu.
Search for the product by Product Name or Product Code, then click the product name.
From the left navigation, select Define Variants. A list of existing variants will be displayed.
Click on the Delete link next to the variant you want to remove.
A confirmation popup will appear.
Click on the OK button. The selected variant will be deleted permanently.

Yes. When a new attribute is added to the attribute set, all existing variants must be deleted, and SKUs need to be reset with the updated attribute set.

Yes. If the SKU of a deleted variant exists in Ecommerce, it will no longer be available for configuration. Always sync changes between Ecommerce and Artifi.
