Overview

This article explains how to update the SKU (Variant Code) of an existing product variant.

Steps to Edit Variants

1. Navigate to Merchandise  and click on the Product Setup menu.
   

2. Search for the product by Product Name or Product Code, then click the product name.

3. From the left navigation, select Define Variants. The list of existing variants will appear.
   

4. Locate the variant you wish to edit and click the Edit (Pencil Icon) next to it.
   

5. Update the Variant Code (SKU).
   

6. Once the details are updated click on the Update icon.
   

7. The SKU variant will be updated and a success message will appear.

Q1. Do I need to re-upload images if I only update the SKU?
 No. Re-uploading images is not required unless you also want to change the images.

Q2. Will updating SKU affect the Ecommerce catalog?

• Yes. Updating the SKU in Artifi does not automatically update the SKU in your Ecommerce catalog.

• Ensure SKUs match between Artifi and Ecommerce to avoid mismatches so that the customization does not break.
