Adding Attribute Set

Navigate to: Merchandise > Attributes > Attribute Sets > “Add New” Action


Adding Attribute Set

  1. Hover on “Merchandise”, from the top menu bar in admin.
  2. Choose the sub menu “Attributes” under the Merchandise Menu.solid black circle
  3. Click on “Attribute Sets” on the left navigation under Attributes menu.
  4. Click on the “Add New” button.solid black circle

    5. Add the required details.
         

    6. Save the progress using the "Save" button. Attribute Sets will be added.

Attribute Set Property Details

Attribute Set PropertiesDetails
Attribute Set NameThis is the attribute set name in which attributes are assigned.
CategorySelect the category. This is used for sorting purposes.
Select Attribute Type

Select Attribute Type. There are 3 types of Attributes that you can create.

  • Product: This is selected by default. If you want to create a product attribute then keep the selected product and save it. This is the product attribute that will be used while creating variants and it is associated with SKU.
  • Custom: Custom attribute is independent. It does not have any association with SKU. This is used if there are any variations of objects or products on which product SKU doesn't have any effect.
  • Color: Color attribute is independent. It does not have any association with SKU. This is used if there are any variations of objects or products on which the product SKU doesn't have any effect. This is specially used for imprint color setting.
