Managing Cache

Overview

Enabling a cache in Artifi, the image is being generated and saved in Content Delivery Network (CDN). When a user changes the color on the front/designer or adds the logo and image is generated and stored so that it can be used for faster loading time and smoother interaction for the user.

Enable Cache

Enabling the Cache in Artifi will store the image CDN and the generated images are later on retrieved from the CDN.

Disable Cache

Disabling the Cache in Artifi, the image will not be stored in the CDN. It will be generated when the user clicks on the color options to colorize the image.

Steps to Enable Cache

  1. Hover on “Admin” and click on “Website”.
  2. Website list will appear. Select the checkbox from the “Enable Cache” column.
  3. A confirmation pop up will appear.
  4. Click on the “OK” button.
  5. Images will be cached in CDN. Later on whenever the user hits to look for the images, a new image will not be generated rather, the previously generated image will be rendered.

Steps to Disable Cache

  1. Hover on “Admin” and click on “Website”.
  2. Website list will appear.
  3. Website list will appear. Deselect the checkbox from the “Enable Cache” column.
  4. A confirmation pop up will appear.
  5. Click on the “OK” button.
  6. Caching of the images will be stopped on disabling the cache.

Note: This will be used exclusively for Artifi layouts. Nevertheless, if the image is created through Ecommerce, this feature won't function in Ecommerce.
