2. When Should You Edit Colors?
Colors should be edited in the following scenarios:
- Updating existing swatch images
- Correcting Display Names or Hex Values
- Modifying pricing integration codes
3. Prerequisites
Before editing colors, ensure that:
- Admin access is available in Artifi
- Required color details such as Display Name, Hex Value, or Swatch Image are added beforehand
4. Important Notes Before Editing Colors
- Anything updated in the Colors will directly reflect the designer.
- Name, Display Name, Hex Value, and Swatch Image can still be updated even when associated with a Color Set.
5. Steps to Edit a Color
Use the following steps to edit an existing color:
- Hover over Merchandise from the top menu bar in Admin.
- Click on the Colors submenu. A list of all the added colors will appear.
- Update the required color details like the Name, Display Name, Hex Value and Code. After updating the details, click on the Save button.
- After saving, the following confirmation message will appear:
“Color has been updated successfully.”

| Image | Upload swatch image for the color. Recommended size: 50 × 50 px. |

- The color is not assigned to the Color Set
- The Color Set is not assigned to the Rule
- The Rule is not assigned to the Template

- Verify that the Color Set is mapped to the correct Rule.
- Verify that the Rule is assigned to the required Template.
- Refresh the designer and validate the color visibility.
Issue: Graphics Color Not Visible in Designer
Possible Cause
- The color is not assigned to the Color Set
- The Color Set is not assigned to the Rule Effects
- The Rule is not assigned to the Template
Resolution
- Verify that the required color is assigned to the appropriate Color Set.
- Verify that the Color Set is mapped to the correct Rule Effects.
- Verify that the Rule is assigned to the required Template.
- Refresh the designer and validate the color visibility.
Issue: Imprint Color Not Visible in Designer
Possible Cause
- Colors are not assigned to the Color Set
- The Color Set is not assigned to the Basic Detail page
- Imprint Color Advance Feature is not enabled

- Verify that the required color is assigned to the appropriate Color Set.
- Verify that the Color Set is mapped to the Basic Detail page.
- Verify that the Imprint Color Advance Feature is enabled from:
Admin > Website > Settings > Advance Features
- Refresh the designer and validate the imprint color visibility.
