Navigate to: Merchandise > Decoration Method > “Add New” Action
Steps to Add a Decoration Method
- Hover on Merchandise and click on Decoration Method, to get to the Decoration Method list page.
- Click on the Add New button to add a new decoration method. If the decoration method is not created then the default decoration method will be applied.
- Below screen will appear. Add the details in the fields that are displayed on the screen. If the default rendering engine is selected below screen will appear.
4. If the embroidery rendering engine is selected below screen will appear.Decoration Method Field Details
Field Name | Field Descriptions |
Name | This is the decoration field name. Example, users can add the name as ‘Screen Print, Emboss/Deboss, Embroidery, etc.’ |
Decoration Code | This can be anything that can be added against the decoration method. |
Rendering Engine | User needs to select the rendering engine as default or embroidery. Default: If the user selects the default, screen print, emboss/deboss can be enabled through rules. The default rendering engine allows for all the decorations methods that are non-embroidery in nature. Embroidery: If the embroidery subscription is not opted by the customer this radio button is disabled. If the user selects the embroidery engine, the embroidery setup needs to be done for the products. For the embroidery decoration method, the embroidery rendering engine is exclusively provisioned. The user should have an embroidery feature subscription in order to use and view these features in their Admin account. |
Display Order | This is the display order in which the decoration method will be displayed. |
Default Rendering Engine | Recolor Limit: To show only the limited colors on the designer. Example if we need to show 5 colors from 20 colors, we would include 5 colors in this field. |
Embroidery Rendering Engine | Recolor Limit: To show only the limited colors on the designer. Example if we need to show 5 colors from 20 colors, we would include 5 colors in this field. Min Stitch Count: If the user uploads a logo on the designer and the min count does not match the requirement, shopper will get a validation message. Max Stitch Count: If the user uploads a logo on the designer and the max count does not match the requirement, shopper will get a validation message. |
Note: If the default decoration method is deleted then the default decoration method set with a particular rendering engine will act as an interim decoration method. Hence a default decoration method will always exist in some form or the other.
