Widget Key is mainly used for custom functionality on the widget.

• Example: Widget key is added in the widget for User Prefered. Means if two text box are there and if we make changes in any one of the text box then same properties should automatically reflect on the second textbox.

• Default Text: If the website user wants to add a default text while adding a textbox in a designer page then default text can be added in admin in the textbox section.
• Ghost Text: Ghost text is a blank textbox that website user adds and the default blank textbox is added.

Text can be aligned horizontally. Left, Center and Right alignment are given.

Default selected option will display in front designer for website user.

Text can be aligned vertically. Top, Center and Bottom alignment are given.

From here admin user can define the maximum text line.

If the website user want to add more than the defined text lines then an error message will appear.

• Error Message: If the number of text lines exceeds, an error message will appear to website user in the front designer page.

If you want to add your own error message then you can click on this icon. A pop will appear to add an error message. After entering click on Done button.

This is the max character limit of text.

If “0” is entered then unlimited characters can be added in the textbox in the front designer page.

• Error Message: If Character Limit exceeds then, an error message will appear to the website user in the front designer page.

There are three text validation provided.

None:- If you select None then, it there will be no text validation applied to the text added in the front designer page.

• All Caps: If you select All Caps then, the text that is added will be in capital letters only in the front designer page.
• Only Numbers: If you select Only Numbers then, the text that is added will have only numbers in the front designer page.

If you want to add your own validation then you can add Custom RegX

• Error Message: If you perform any action other than the selected options, website user will get an error on the front designer page.

If you want to add your own validation or error message then you can click on this icon. A pop will appear to add a Custom RegX and error message. After entering click on Done button.

This is a predefined text line height that you can choose from artifi admin.

This is the line height of the text lines for a textbox. If the text lines are more than one then, you can set the height between the lines. You can choose the line height that is available from the dropdown and it will reflect in the front designer page.

The list in dropdown come from the list of line height that is checked from the pop up when you select this icon.

Select the default font from the front list from the drop-down. There are system fonts and custom fonts that will be displayed in the dropdown in admin.

• System Fonts: By default there are System fonts which you can select the ones that you want to display in the front designer page.
• Custom Fonts: This is the font that you can select from here. This font needs to be uploaded from the Font Family section. If you want to set the fonts then click on this icon. A pop will appear there will be system fonts and custom fonts (fonts family). Select the font family and fonts in that family and click on the Done button.
• Embroidery Fonts:- For the embroidery rule embroidery fonts will appear if the embroidery engine is enabled. The other fonts for the embroidery will not appear.

If Choose Font Size is checked, the font size will be available to the website user in the front designer page.

You can add custom size in the admin. To add the custom size you need to click on this. A pop up will appear, click on Add Custom Value. Enter the values and click on the Add button and repeat it and click on the Done button after you add all the values.

If Auto Font-Size is checked in admin,

then the fonts will resize automatically and adjust according to the space given for text.

This is the text colors that are displayed in the front designer.

There are 4 options to set the text colors. 

• Use Advanced Colors - This is the color picker that you can provide in the front designer to the website user. 
• Use Custom Colors - This is the custom color that is uploaded from admin which will appear as a swatch color in the front designer.
•  Use Hex Color - You can use hex color to show the swatches in front designer instead of images. 
• Use Images - If you don't want to use hex code then you can select Use Images but swatch images for colors need to be uploaded in the color section.

For embroidery, the thread chart that is uploaded in the Thread Chart section of the Artifi Admin by the user would be considered to fetch the thread colors as swatch colors that are shown under the Text color setting. If in case there is no thread chart uploaded then the Advanced color wheel for selecting a thread color will be provisioned through the text color set here.

If this caption is checked stroke can be applied to the text. Stroke does not work for embroidery rule. This option will not be displayed for the embroidery rule.

From here stroke colors of the text can be defined.

There are two options in stoke color section.

• Use Advanced Colors - This you can select for providing color picker to the website front designer user. 
• Use Custom Colors - This is the custom color added in admin that is displayed in the front designer as swatch colors.

Stroke Color does not work for embroidery rule. This option will not be displayed for the embroidery rule.

If Choose stroke width is checked the width of stroke can be changed in the front designer.

If Can Edit is checked, website user can edit the text in a font designer page.

If it's unchecked, website user cannot edit the text.

If this is checked in admin then in front designer page textbox cannot be empty.

If it is empty then it would give a message and will not allow to the website user to add to cart. If you don’t want the website user should get any messages and can add blank textbox then uncheck Is Required? Option in admin in rules properties.

If this caption is checked, the front designer user can arrange the object according to the shoppers convenience

This is used to reflect the same properties on other objects.

For example, if there are two text objects and if you enter any text in front designer then the same text will reflect in the textbox on which user-preferred is on.

There are two effects for the textbox

• Shadow: There is two option to set shadow for text. You can set it to user derived, means when the user wants then he can apply it in the front designer of the website. Or Apply Shadow Effect by default. When the user adds any text by default it will be added along with shadows that are applied on it. 
• Widget Opacity: This is the opacity of the textbox widget. That means a textbox widget can be made transparent or opaque.

Effects do not work for embroidery.
