Navigate to: Merchandise > Category > “Delete Link” Action

Steps to Delete a Category

1. Hover on "Merchandise", from the top menu bar in admin.

2. Choose the sub menu "Category" under the Merchandise menu.

3. A list of categories will be displayed.

 

4. Click on the "Delete" link. A pop up will appear with a message.

5. Click on the Ok button.

6. Category will be deleted.

Note: Categories which are assigned/associated to any product cannot be deleted. To delete the category, unassign category from the product.
