Configuring Output Settings

Navigate to: Admin > Website > Edit > Settings > Output Settings


This is the output setting for the application. The design that is created by Shoppers, when the shoppers add that particular design to the cart, a production-ready file is generated which is called an Output file in Artifi. Output settings enable the shopper to manage the settings according to the requirement.

Steps to Configure Output Settings

  1. Navigate to Output settings- Admin>>Website>>Edit>>Settings.
  2. Click on Output Settings under Settings in left navigation.
  3. Enter the details of the Output setting.

 PDF DPI

This is the resolution of the pdf in which the text and images in the pdf are generated. We use a default 90 DPI and it can be updated as per the requirement like 72 DPI or 300 DPI.

PDF - This is an editable format of PDF where text and images in the pdf can be edited.If the shoppers uses a vector image while creating a design, vector pdf will be generated. If the shopper adds a raster file then the output would be rasterized.
PDF text as a path - This is a non-editable format of PDF where text and images in the pdf cannot be updated.
Extensions
1 BIT PNG - This is raster output which includes a raster text and images.
DST - DST output is used for embroidery. DST file format contains machine commands to stitch it out. DST file format is not capable of saving the actual colors.
EMB - DST output is used for embroidery. If any changes are required then the changes can be made in the .EMB format because .EMB file retains all the properties i.e. colors etc.
EPS - This is a vector file format which is generated in Artifi. If the shoppers use vector images while creating a design, vector output will be generated. If the shopper adds a raster file then the output would be rasterized.
PNG - This is raster output which includes a raster text and images.
Preview PDF - This is raster output which includes a raster text and images. This is a non-editable file and this is the same as the preview that we see while customizing the product.
SVG - This is a vector file format which is generated in Artifi. If the shoppers use vector images while creating a design, vector output will be generated. If the shopper adds a raster file then the output would be rasterized.
SVGz - This is a vector file format which is generated in Artifi. If the shoppers use vector images while creating a design, vector output will be generated. If the shopper adds a raster file then the output would be rasterized.
